Vintage Tanzanite and Diamond 14CT White Gold Ring

A very pretty ring in solid 14-carat white gold set with a solitaire tanzanite between two lines of tiny twinkling white diamonds. The tanzanite is a beautiful pale indigo colour, somewhere between blue and purple.

Tanzanite is a gemstone which comes from just one place near Kilimanjaro in Tanzania and did not become widely known until the 1960s. It is one of the birthstones for December.

SIZE: O and a half (UK), 7.5 (US). The tanzanite is 6mm diameter, approx 0.8CT, surrounded by 0.13 TCW of diamonds.

WEIGHT: 2.5g.

MATERIALS: 14-carat (585) white gold, diamond, tanzanite.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 14K.

CONDITION: Excellent condition with very little sign of wear.

ERA: Estimated late 20th century.
