Vintage 9CT Gold Woven Panther Link Collar Necklace

A very elegant solid gold panther-link necklace which lies flat against the neck and gleams beautifully. If you look very closely you'll see the collar alternates rows of darker and lighter yellow gold which gives a nice additional layer of contrast, though it's very subtle. 

SIZE: Approx 17 and a quarter inches (43.5cm). Width: 1.1cm.

WEIGHT: 37.2g - reassuringly substantial but light enough to be comfortable. 

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped for nine-carat gold on the clasp. Also marked XS and UJE. 

CONDITION: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, with a push clasp which snaps shut nicely and latches on one side for additional security. 

ERA: Estimated late 20th century.
