Vintage 9CT Gold Cornelian Ball Stud Earrings

A classic pair of gemstone stud earrings - polished natural carnelian [cornelian] balls mounted on nine-carat yellow gold posts and secured with nine-carat gold butterflies. 

SIZE: The cornelians measure approximately 8mm diameter.

WEIGHT: 1.7g. 

MATERIALS: Carnelian, nine-carat gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: One of the earrings is very faintly marked 9CT and the butterflies are marked 375 (nine-carat gold). 

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition.

ERA: Estimated mid-late 20th century.
