Modernist Kupittaan Kulta Rose Gold and Silver Fish Necklace

A lovely little vintage fish necklace made by the Finnish company Kupittaan Kulta, well known for their avant-garde Modernist silver jewellery in the latter half of the 20th century. The pendant and necklace are sterling silver, with applied rose gold detail on the fish. (At the time of writing we also have a cat version of the necklace, see our other pieces.)

SIZE: The chain is approximately 18 inches. The pendant measures 1.5cm along each square side.

WEIGHT: 5.0g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, rose gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The pendant is marked "925S FINLAND NB" with the Kupittaan Kulta anvil maker's mark, and the anvil logo is also stamped on the chain next to the clasp.

CONDITION: In very good condition, with normal surface wear for a vintage item.

ERA: Estimated late 20th century.
