Modernist Kupittaan Kulta Rose Gold and Silver Cat Necklace

A lovely vintage cat necklace made by the Finnish company Kupittaan Kulta, well known for their avant-garde Modernist silver jewellery in the latter half of the 20th century. The pendant and necklace are sterling silver, with applied rose gold detail on the cat's head. (At the time of writing we also have a fish version of the necklace, see our other pieces.)

SIZE: The chain is approximately 18 inches. The pendant measures 1 x 3.5cm, not including the bail.

WEIGHT: 6.9g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, rose gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The pendant is marked "FINLAND 925S NB" with the Kupittaan Kulta anvil maker's mark.

CONDITION: In very good condition, with normal surface wear for a vintage item.

ERA: Estimated late 20th century.
