Vintage Hardstone Sphere Silver Gilt Necklace

A beautiful vintage necklace with polished semi-precious gems mounted "pools of light" style in gilded silver bezels. The spectacle-set hardstones are believed to be aventurine, carnelian and onyx.

SIZE: Approximately 16 and a half inches long. Each bead is unique but on average they measure around 8mm diameter.

WEIGHT: 28.4g. 

MATERIALS: Gilded 925 sterling silver, hardstone.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked 925 on the clasp and stamped with various foreign (non-UK) hallmarks.

CONDITION:  In excellent vintage condition.

ERA: Estimated late 20th century.
