Vintage Gold Star Sapphire Ring

A pretty star-shaped ring topped with a two-coloured cluster of sapphires. The face has contrasting textures of richly coloured gold which reflect the light beautifully.

SIZE: O (UK), 7 and a quarter (US). The star-shaped face of the ring measures approximately 1.2cm and the top sits 8mm above the finger. The sapphires are approx 2mm.

WEIGHT: 3.0g.

MATERIALS: High-carat gold, sapphire.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Unknown hallmarks on the outside of the shank; the gold tests as at least 14 carat.

CONDITION: The ring is in very good vintage condition; the central sapphire is chipped.

ERA: Estimated mid-late 20th century.
