Vintage Faux Pearl Necklace with Silver Sapphire Paste Clasp

A stunning vintage necklace of large champagne coloured simulated pearls. The "pearls" are individually knotted on two strands and fix with a beautiful sterling silver clasp set with a large faceted blue stone and numerous small white pastes mounted in a pattern of flowers and leaves. Would make a fantastic "something blue" for a bride!

SIZE: The large "pearls" are approx 11mm diameter. The long strand is approximately 16 inches and the shorter approx 19 inches, with a further 1.5 inches (approx 3cm) for the clasp.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, paste gemstones, simulated pearls.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The clasp is stamped SILVER and the safety chain clasp is stamped STERLING.

CONDITION: The necklace is in excellent vintage condition.

ERA: Estimated early-mid-20th century.
