Vintage 9CT Gold Opening Church Wedding Charm

This dinky little old English church charm opens up to reveal a miniature bride and groom being married by a vicar/priest. The church tower contains a Stanhope lens in the tower window - a viewer which displays a minuscule text of the wedding vows but it’s degraded and quite hard to read.

SIZE: Approximately 1.7 x 1cm, approximately 1.2cm tall.

WEIGHT: 4.4g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Fully hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Birmingham; the date letter is unclear but is almost certainly 1970s. Also stamped SP.

CONDITION: In very good vintage condition.

ERA: 1970s.
