Vintage Very Long Cultured Pearl Necklace with 9CT Gold Clasp

An elegant single strand necklace of creamy cultured pearls with a solid gold bow-shaped clasp. Individually knotted, the pearls are all unique in shape and size. Can be worn single or doubled.

SIZE: Approximately 38 inches (approx 97cm) long, plus the clasp section which is around another three-quarters of an inch. The pearls each measure approximately 6mm.

WEIGHT: 29.6g. 

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold, cultured pearl.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: The secure clasp is hallmarked for nine-carat gold, Birmingham 1982, also stamped with the sponsor's mark ALD.

CONDITION: The pearls are in excellent vintage condition with gleaming pale champagne-coloured nacre.

ERA: 1982.
