Vintage 14CT Gold Modernist Amethyst and Pearl Crossover Ring

A beautiful Modernist statement ring - a majestic purple amethyst and a gleaming cultured pearl are set crossover style into an elegantly curved 14-carat gold ring. 

SIZE: M and a half (UK), approx 6.5 (US). The shank is approximately 2mm wide and the top of the ring sits around 7mm above the finger. Both the pearl and the amethyst measure just over 5mm diameter.

WEIGHT: 4.1g. 

MATERIALS: 14-carat gold, pearl, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked 585 (14-carat gold).

CONDITION: The ring is in excellent vintage condition. There is a little normal surface wear to the gold, the pearl has a lovely nacre with a slight violet shine.

ERA: Estimated mid-late 20th century.
