A golden Victorian pendant with a halo of simulated pearls enclosing a pretty amethyst glass on top of a beautiful ornate pierced gallery. The pendant would originally have been a brooch and has at some time long past been sympathetically converted to a pendant with the addition of a gold bail at the top.

MATERIALS: Glass, gold-coloured metal, nine-carat gold bail.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.
CONDITION: Excellent antique condition. The bail at the top is gold and was likely added later when the piece was converted from a brooch to a pendant.
ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
