This pretty Victorian pendant is an unusual little piece. One side shows a typically Victorian scrolling foliate design with hand-chased ivy leaves (ivy being a Victorian symbol of enduring love) and the other has a tiny real dried flower sprig sealed inside a glass, or possibly crystal, fronted compartment.
SIZE: 2 x 1.6cm; 2.8cm including the bail.
WEIGHT: 3.2g.
MATERIALS: Gold coloured metal (not solid gold, possibly pinchbeck).
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.
CONDITION: Very good antique condition, with normal surface wear for a piece of this age and minor abrasions to the glass.
ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
