Victorian Gold Carved Agate Cross Pendant

A unique antique cross pendant carved in natural apricot-coloured agate with deeper orange stripes visible below the surface when the stone is held up to the light. Capped with nine-carat gold of a lovely slightly rosy colour.

SIZE:  3.7 x 2.5, not including the bail.

WEIGHT: 6.9g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, agate.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: The pendant is in very good antique condition; there are some tiny nibbles on edges but they're not visible when the pendant is worn.

ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
