Very Long Antique Victorian Solid 9CT Gold Longuard Chain with Albert Clip

This highly desirable long Victorian guard chain in solid nine-carat gold is a closed loop with an Albert-style dog clip perfect for attaching a pendant, crucifix or locket. The chain can be worn single or doubled. 

SIZE: Approximately 57 inches long. The clip is around three-quarters of an inch, or approx 2cm. Approx 2mm wide.

WEIGHT: 16.4g. 

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9C JM on the clip and on a plaque on the chain. 

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition.

ERA: Victorian (c.1837-1901).
