Tiny Art Nouveau Gold Leaf Pearl Brooch

A beautiful little antique gold pin depicting a water lily leaf. The dainty natural pearl set in the centre is a traditional Art Nouveau/Edwardian motif designed to represent a drop of water resting on the surface of the lily pad. The gold tests as nine carat (375) but has the rich colour of a higher fineness such as 15.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: There is an unknown lozenge stamp on the clasp, see photos.

ERA: Estimated Art Nouveau (late Victorian/Edwardian (c.1890-1910).
