Small Size Antique Silver Front Opening Bangle

A rare little silver bangle with a lovely aged patina and an unusual front opening - the opposite sides twist apart to enable them to fit around your wrist and clip back together with a ball which slots into a tiny opening to create an almost invisible join. We believe it to be antique Victorian, there are no hallmarks to confirm a date but it's certainly of some age.

SIZE: The bangle is approx 9mm wide or 1.4cm including the silver balls. The internal circumference is approx six and a half inches (around 16.5cm), which is a small size and will not fit everyone, please be sure to check your measurements!

WEIGHT: 10.3g.

MATERIALS: Silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found.

CONDITION: Overall very good with no missing elements, there are some small dents on the smooth section, see photos. We haven't overpolished but you could take the silver to a higher shine if that's your preference.

ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
