A gorgeous dainty Edwardian paste pendant with a pretty gold floral motif entwined around a carved mother of pearl hoop with a tiny dangle below. It's an unusual asymmetric design and the circular pearly hoop is very rare to find intact.
The piece comes in the little old German box pictured, which is how it came to us. The box is a bit battered but a lovely sturdy little place to keep the pendant safe. The pendant is solid nine-carat gold, slightly rosy in colour.
SIZE: The pendant is 3.3cm top to bottom, the central circle is 1.7cm diameter.
WEIGHT: 0.9g.
MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold, mother of pearl, paste gemstones.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT.
CONDITION: In excellent antique condition.
ERA: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
