Victorian Silver Amethyst Paste Cocktail Ring

This lovely 19th century solid silver ring has a very French look to it. Set with a large oval amethyst glass stone surrounded by sparkling foil-backed white pastes it reaches almost to the knuckle and really draws the eye, it's hard to look away from your finger!  

SIZE: M and a half (UK), approx 6.5 (US). The paste-set face of the ring measures approx 3.3 x 1.6cm.

WEIGHT: 6.9g. 

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, paste gemstones.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked STERLING.

CONDITION: The ring is in excellent antique condition with no vacant stones.

ERA: Estimated late Victorian/Edwardian (c.late 1800s-1914).
