Incredible William Welstead 18CT White Gold Flat Rose-Cut Diamond Ring

A fantastic ring hand made by the English designer William Welstead. A flat rose-cut diamond, bezel set into 18-carat white gold and framed in 37 smaller diamonds.

At the time of writing this ring had a retail price of more than GBP 15,000.

Welstead uses only natural untreated gemstones and scours the world for antique stones, as well as gems he has cut by a fourth-generation Indian family who employ techniques no longer found in Europe.

It shimmers with an almost kalaedoscopic effect, silvery and almost mirror-like, until you hold it up to the light and see its translucence. It's very difficult to do this ring justice in photographs, do feel free to ask for more video clips if you're interested.

SIZE:  M (UK), approximately 6 and a half (US). The face of the ring measures approx 2.1 x 1.9cm.

WEIGHT: 8.7g.

MATERIALS: 18 carat gold, diamond.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped WAW 750, with hallmarks for London 2008.

CONDITION: In excellent vintage condition, just a little surface wear consistent with normal usage.
