Georgian/Victorian Banded Agate Pearl Cross Ring

A gorgeously rich gold ring in a square cross design typical of the early 19th century. The ring has beautifully ornate shoulders and is set with four polished banded agate cabochons surrounding a gleaming split pearl.

SIZE: K and a half (UK), 5 and a half (US).

WEIGHT: 1.2g.

MATERIALS: Gold (tests as minimum 12 carat, likely to be at least 15), pearl, banded agate.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition. The ring has been resized at some time.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Partial hallmark, lost when the ring was resized.

ERA: Late Georgian-early Victorian (c. early 19th century).
