Georgian Gold Carnelian Fob Pendant

A substantial antique gold-cased watch fob pendant with an ornate scrolling foliate pattern all over, set with a panel of beautiful polished carnelian/cornelian.

SIZE: Approximately 4.7 x 2.4cm, including the bail.

WEIGHT: 14.1g.

MATERIALS: Gold-cased metal, carnelian.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition; the top loop turns easily so you can wear either side facing out.

ERA: Estimated late Georgian-early Victorian (c.late 1700s to mid 1800s).
