This pretty Edwardian brooch has a Van Cleef and Arpels-style clover shaped centrepiece with beautiful royal blue guilloche enamel adorned with tiny natural white pearls. The brooch, in gold and silver, is a memorial or anniversary piece with a hidden inscription engraved on the back: Jan'y 24 1885-1910.
SIZE: 3.5 x 1.7cm.
WEIGHT: 2.9g.
MATERIALS: Silver, gold, pearl.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found.
CONDITION: In excellent antique condition; there is a tiny blemish beneath the surface of the enamel which is visible only when the brooch is worn one way up (see photos) but if you wear it the other way you can't see it at all and the surface of the enamel is intact.
ERA: Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
