Edwardian Garnet Pearl Clover Heart 9CT Gold Pendant

A gorgeous Edwardian clover pendant in slightly rosy nine-carat gold. The clover (or shamrock) is made up of three shimmering heart-shaped almandine garnets and adorned with tiny seed pearls set into its tendrils.

SIZE: 2.5cm diameter.

WEIGHT: 2.3g.

MATERIALS: 375 nine-carat gold, pearl, garnet.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: There is a 9CT plaque on the back, though the 9 is quite worn.

CONDITION: The pendant is in very good antique condition, though has obviously been converted at some time from a brooch - at the back you can see where the clasp has been removed and there's a tiny bit of solder under the bail at the top.

ERA: Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
