A stunning twinkly Edwardian "harem" ring formed of three dainty stacked gem-set gold rings which are joined together with a link at the back. The diamonds are set into silver, as is traditional, and the coloured gems - green demantoid garnets and blue sapphires - are set into gold.
SIZE: It's difficult to be precise but the ring is approximately a K-L (UK), approx 5 and a half (US). The gem-set front section is 2cm wide, measured along the curve.
WEIGHT: 3.5g.
MATERIALS: Gold, silver, diamond, pearl, demantoid garnet, sapphire.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None. The gold tests as minimum 14 carat.
CONDITION: It's likely this started out as a five-stack ring and there would originally have been two more pearls in the central row. Otherwise the ring is in very good antique condition.
ERA: Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
