Edwardian 9CT Gold Round Locket Pendant

A beautiful round locket, nine-carat gold front and back, with a lovely ornately engraved edge around both sides. The back is otherwise plain, the front has further traditional Victorian-style scrolling foliate detailing.

One side contains a golden frame which can be taken out and put back in to secure a picture or acetate.

SIZE: 2.9cm diameter.

WEIGHT: 5.4g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold back and front.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped 9CT BACK & FRONT.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition with hinge and clasp in good working order and a nice secure closure.

ERA: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
