Edwardian 9CT Gold Art Nouveau Garnet Drop Pendant

An Edwardian pendant in a rounded cross design set with one faceted almandine garnet at its centre and another in a hanging drop beneath. The piece is solid nine-carat gold, with the outer frame slightly more rosy in colour than the yellow gold inner cross.

SIZE: 4.3cm total drop, the cross measures 2.8cm diameter.

WEIGHT: 1.1g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, garnet.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Unclear stamped plaque on the reverse.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition.

ERA: Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
