Chunky Vintage Retro Moonstone Silver Gilt Clip-on Earrings

Stylish vintage ear clips in richly gilded sterling silver, each inset with a tiny glowing moonstone at the centre. We haven't been able to identify the maker but they definitely have the feel of a designer piece.

SIZE: 2 x 1.8cm.

WEIGHT: 16.4g.

MATERIALS: Moonstone, gilded 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Stamped STERLING on the clips and hallmarked for sterling silver, London 1991 on the bottom of each earring.

CONDITION: The earrings are in very good vintage condition with nice snappy clips for pierced or non-pierced ears. There is a little minor surface wear, see photos, and the gold has worn at the bottom of one of the fittings but this is invisible when the clips are worn.

ERA: Estimated mid-late 20th century.
