Art Deco Silver Genuine Butterfly Wing Bar Brooch Pin

An original Art Deco silver bar brooch with a Blue Morpho butterfly wing set beneath domed glass or rock crystal in a typical 1930s setting. The insect wing is like a beautiful shimmering eye which flashes turquoise as it catches the light.

SIZE: The brooch is 6.3cm long, the central "eye" measures 2 x 2.2cm.

WEIGHT: 4.3g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, butterfly wing.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked SILVER.

CONDITION: The piece is in very good vintage/antique condition. The silver has a lovely patina consistent with the age of the piece.

ERA: Art Deco (c.1920s-30s).
