Victorian Sterling Silver Bird Locket

A charming large sterling silver locket engraved with a flying bird scene and patterning typical of the Victorian Aesthetic era (c.1880s). Chain not included.

SIZE: Approximately 3.2 x 4cm not including the bail, 5cm total drop.

WEIGHT: 9.2g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found.

CONDITION: In very good antique condition with normal surface wear for its age and slight denting, see photos. We have not overpolished but you could take it to a higher shine if preferred.

ERA: Estimated Victorian (c.1837-1901).
