A chunky little Victorian 18-carat gold ring with vivid blue turquoises mounted in a star-shaped setting. The gold is a slightly rosy colour with a lovely shine.
Turquoise, in the language of Victorian sentimental jewellery, always represents the forget-me-not flower symbolising true love and loyalty. A romantic symbol used as a constant and powerful reminder of a love lost or perhaps of a sweetheart sent off to fight in the Crimean war.
SIZE: K (UK), approx 5.25 (US). The face of the ring measures approx 9mm and it sits around 5mm above the finger.
