A rare 19th century stick pin (or scarf pin/lapel pin/tie pin/cravat pin) featuring a tiny handpainted portrait of a lady in Regency dress with flowers in her hair. The glazed portrait appears to have been painted on card, with some handwriting in pencil on the reverse. The pin terminal tests as high-carat gold, while the pin itself is gold coloured metal with a central twist to help keep it securely in place.
SIZE: The pin is 6.4cm long. The oval terminal measures approx 1.6 x 1.4cm.

MATERIALS: Gold terminal, metal pin, glass, card.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition.
