This pretty little antique pendant started out as part of a bigger piece of jewellery, likely a large necklace, and has at some time been converted to a very wearable piece which can be hung on a chain or ribbon.
Each of the beautiful deep purplish garnets is unique in shape and size, ranging from round to oval to teardrop. They are set in nine-carat gold of a lovely slightly rosy colour with the enclosed backs typical of Georgian jewellery.
