A lovely old 19th century rosy gold ring with a rectangular almandine garnet flanked by two round garnets and adorned with tiny gold balls.
SIZE: O (UK), approx 7 (US). The large garnet measures approx 9 x 7mm and the round ones 4mm.
WEIGHT: 2.6g.
MATERIALS: Tests as nine-carat gold.
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found.
CONDITION: The ring is in very good antique condition, though the surface of one of the smaller garnets is quite worn, see photos.
ERA: Estimated Georgian (c.1714-1837).
