Edwardian Gold Amethyst Drop Necklace

An elegant Edwardian necklace in rich 15-carat gold set with majestic purple amethysts. The clasp appears to be a later replacement and is marked 9CT (nine-carat gold). Weight: 

SIZE: The chain length is approximately 16 inches and the pendant section measures approx 3.5 x 1.8cm.

WEIGHT: 2.4g. 

MATERIALS: 15-carat gold, nine-carat gold, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: 9CT on the later clasp.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition.

ERA: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
