Edwardian 9CT Gold Amethyst Pearl Lavalier Pendant

A pretty Edwardian pendant mounted with excellent colour purple amethysts and tiny gleaming seed pearls. The frame is nine-carat gold, with traditional silver settings to complement the pearls. The pendant also has a brooch fitting which appears to be a later addition. 

SIZE: Approximately 4 x 3cm.

WEIGHT: 2.9g.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked 9CT.

CONDITION: Two of the tiny amethyst claws are missing but otherwise the piece is in excellent antique condition.

ERA: Estimated Edwardian (c.1901-1914).
