Antique Amethyst and Pearl 9CT Gold Pendant

A gorgeous quality 19th-century pendant set with a faceted pinkish-purple amethyst and four gleaming pearls. The framework is nine-carat gold; it has a lovely rich colour as though perhaps it's been washed with a higher carat gold.  

SIZE: Approximately 2.5 x 1.8cm.

WEIGHT: 2.0g. 

MATERIALS: Nine-carat gold, pearl, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Marked 9C on the bail.

CONDITION: The pendant is in excellent antique condition.

ERA: Estimated 19th century, Victorian (c.1837-1901).
