This fabulous antique piece started life as a brooch but has been converted to a pendant. Formed of solid silver set with two gleaming garnets and a baroque pearl dangle, we believe it to originate from France in the early 1800s, with a later cultured pearl.
SIZE: Approx 4.7cm total drop, the pendant measures around 4.4cm across.
WEIGHT: 9.4g.
MATERIALS: Silver, cultured pearl
HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None.
CONDITION: In very good antique condition; the central figure has worn over the years, particularly on the nose, but the silver detail is fantastically crisp, the gems are intact and the pearl has a lovely shining nacre.
ERA: Estimated France c.early 1800s, with a later pearl.
Antique and vintage boxes photographed are for display only and are not included unless stated in the description.
