1968 Vintage Amethyst Solitaire 9CT Gold Brutalist Ring

A vintage nine-carat gold ring set with a fabulous rich purple high-domed cabochon amethyst, almost sugarloaf in shape.

SIZE: L and a half (UK), approximately 6 (US). The ring is approx 3mm wide at the back, rising to just over 1cm at the front. The amethyst is approx 8mm wide and the top of the stone sits around 1cm above the finger.

WEIGHT: 2.9g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold, amethyst.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Hallmarked for nine-carat gold, London 1968 and bearing the sponsor's mark CJ LTD.

CONDITION: The ring is in excellent vintage condition.

ERA: 1968.
