1940s Vintage Gold Aventurine Cocktail Ring

A fantastic elongated cocktail ring featuring a polished aventurine cabochon set into a particularly chunky gold scrollwork mount typical of the 1940s.

SIZE: R-S (UK), 9 (US). The face of the ring is approximately 3 x 1.2cm and the aventurine measures 3 x 1.2cm.

WEIGHT: 5.2g.

MATERIALS: Aventurine, 14-carat (585) gold.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: There is what looks like a very worn mark inside but it's not legible. The metal tests as 14-carat gold.

CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition.

ERA: Estimated 1940s.
