Vintage Tiger's Eye Bullet Cabochon Modernist Silver Ring

A striking Modernist ring in solid sterling silver, with a beautiful golden-striped pointed tiger's eye cabochon at the centre.

SIZE: L (UK), approximately 5 and a half (US). The ring measures approximately 1.4cm across the front and the top of the tiger's eye sits around 8mm above the finger.

WEIGHT: 4.9g.

MATERIALS: 925 sterling silver, tiger's eye.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: Believed to be by the innovative Finnish designer Elis Kauppi, although the maker's mark is unclear.

CONDITION: The ring is in very good vintage condition, with normal surface wear to the silver and some tarnish. We have not overpolished as many people prefer the patina of age but you could doubtless take it to a higher shine.

ERA: Estimated 1950s.
